As mentioned in my summary, after a few years of focussing mainly on Comic Book Cover Art I'm shifting my focus back to Interior work. As you may or may not know, drawing interior comic book pages is a particular sort of grind that should not be entered into lightly… with that in mind, I decided to do an endurance tune-up… like training for a marathon. Since I did it for my own benefit, as opposed to for a publisher, and since the actual comic had already been published years ago, there was an added opportunity to post the pages to my social media accounts in real time as if the public were my editor. I felt like it was a rare opportunity for the general public to see the creation of a comic in real time, hopefully gaining an appreciation for how much love and work goes into the creation of these books. It was a wonderful little project.
The final stats on this "tune up":
Total days to draw these 22 pages: 35
Total work days: 27
Average time per day: 14 hours
