So, I’m not sure this counts as a “sketch”... more of a full blown completed panel, from start to finish. No name characters in this one, just a scene that popped in my head that would belong in a horror story.
I knew this one was going to take longer than I generally like to spend on these, but I thought it would be good to show a full out semi-crowd scene with some pretty detailed background. Total time on this one was 4 and a half hours(ish). Also of note: I made more extensive use of the 3D tools on this one than I did for The Mandalorian pic. A common question that used to be asked frequently by beginning artists back in the day was “Is there a shortcut to placing multiple characters in a scene in perspective?” and there were a handful of tricks that got bandied about, but... now we live in the digital age and tools like this in Clip Studio make it a breeze to place multiple figures in a scene, perfectly in perspective, and it sets up your perspective rulers while you’re at it.
